Thomas Schnitzler holds a Ph.D. in economics
and master degrees in both economics and engineering.
He has been working in executive search since 2000.
Before that he worked in both the industry and top management
consulting.

Since 2006 Thomas Schnitzler manages his own executive search company in fact entirely independent. He founded this enterprise in 2000 namely as a
sole proprietorship and then in 2005 he transferred it into a limited corporation namely Thomas Schnitzler Executive Search GMBH.

Management Recruiters International (MRI)
In 2000, with six years professional experience in the industry and five years in management consulting Thomas Schnitzler founded his own executive
search company namely Dr. Thomas Schnitzler Consulting that was a German affiliate of the worldwide largest organization for executive search namely
Management Recruiters International.
In 2003, 2004 and 2005 Thomas Schnitzler achieved the best results among 35 German MRI partner offices. As a managing owner of a MRI partner office he achieved the best results among 200 European managing owners and the 3rd best position among 1,100 managing owners worldwide.
Thomas Schnitzler was able to achieve these outstanding results through the combination of MRI’s decades of process know how in executive search, and his hard and precise work that he could train in management consulting, and his individual social sensibility, and his good people judgement.
Consulting Experience
Thomas Schnitzler worked five years as a consultant with Management Engineers that belongs to Booz & Company since 2013 and to PwC’s Strategy& since 2014. Management Engineers was ranked
as a top 5 consulting firm in Germany by Prof. Fink.
Management Engineers developed accepted concepts and made them work thus achieving measurable results. Thomas Schnitzler improved both the effectiveness and efficiency of sales, product development and logistics processes of manufacturing companies.
Industry Experience
After the completion of his studies of both mechanical engineering in Aachen and business administration Thomas Schnitzler started his professional
career working two years as an industrial engineer with Philips Automotive Lighting.
Afterwards he joined SIG Combibloc, the second largest European manufacturer of liquid food packages in fact as assistant to the COO. At SIG he improved key logistics performance indicators through the re-alignment of logistics processes including IT systems.
During this time he worked successfully on a doctoral thesis that was connected with the effectiveness of the planning logistics processes of consumer products manufacturers and as a result he was awarded with a Ph.D. in economics.
